This teensy venue (maximum capacity 250) hosts some of the funniest and most unusual performances in London packing crowds into its shady, boudoir style interior for Saturday’s kitsch cabaret and nightly music bonanzas. Of course it used to be a strip club (hasn’t everything in Soho started life in some state of undress?), and whilst there is some nipple-tassle twirling to be had, it also puts on club nights such as Lost & Found, Wednesday’s lip-synching ‘Tranny Shack’, and White Heat – London’s ‘infamous art rock disco’ which features a surprisingly on-it selection of up-and-comers and undiscovered talent.
