Fun, friendly and flirty, this intimately sized space tucked into a basement space underneath a lingerie shop is a well-loved venue amongst younger club-kids and disco dollies looking for a pre-club drink or a chilled out hour in one of the cushioned alcoves. Best known for its playful décor, it includes fish tanks, children’s wallpaper, Barbie dolls hanging from the ceiling in slutty positions, troll stools and mirror balls. The music, unsurprisingly, is just as kitsch, favouring Dolly Parton and Diana Ross, and the bar staff are amongst some of the friendliest in Soho. A video projector plays an unending stream of camp classics, from The Wizard of Oz to I Dream of Jeanie, and if you’re lucky enough to have owner Maria mixing your drinks, you’ll be in for a good chinwag.
