When one of London’s most fabulous trannies decided to curate her own shop in a disused garage out East, it sparked a ‘Where’s Wally’ style search amongst the fash-pack. Such is the power of this one time door-bitch at Boombox (a notorious ex-club night).
The space - now at Start London, having been forced to move - stocks one-off pieces by Giles Deacon, Christopher Kane and Judy Blame, new and never before seen stuff from Richard Nicoll, Louise Gray and James Long, and archive pieces by Jessica Ogden, Kim Jones, and Joe Caseley-Hayford. Artsy inspiration comes via t-shirts designed exclusively for the store by Turner prize winner Mark Titchner, and interiors by Benjamin Alexander Huseby, whilst the store-front has been designed by Tony Hornecker.
