The epicentre of Shoreditch’s growing fashion scene is all centred on Redchurch Street, which is reaching such stratospheric shopping heights that even Christian Louboutin is rumoured to be looking at space there. One of the original residents, Hostem, has now become a must-see for men who understand their fashion.
Stocking amazing streewear and exclusive Japanese labels alongside avant-garde names like Haider Ackerman, Ann Demeulemeester, Damir Doma and Rick Owens, clothing and accessories are displayed on reclaimed old tables and stacked under exposed bulbs across the three rooms created by artist/designer duo JamesPlumb.
One of the rooms is an ever-changing installation space for visiting designers, and owner James Brown is always thinking of new ways to push creative boundaries; the shop has already hosted a one-room hotel and last Christmas made an amazing advent calendar with exclusive goodies up for grabs.
