LN-CC may have the guys behind Uniqlo, and nearby Topman General Store the chutzpah of b Store co-curator Matthew Murphy, but this little designer heaven has pulled in Simon Spiteri, the man behind the menswear department of Liberty.
Located on an increasingly happening street around the corner from The Boundary, Anthem follows the same kind of retail approach as Hostem and Albam in its modern, yet crafted collection of choices that feel ‘heritage’ with brands like Save Khaki from New York, Comme des Garçons and Oliver Spencer as well as lesser known labels such as Vlas Blomme from Japan and Yves Andrieux from Paris.
Trunks and crates masquerade as furniture in the woodsy, brick-bedecked shop. In fact, if you like the table so much, you can take it home; light fittings, art work and furnishings come complete with price tags, too.
