How to get there

You can get to Cambridge from both King’s Cross and Liverpool Street Stations. Journey times vary between 45 minutes and 1 hour and 20 minutes. Off peak returns are £20, anytime returns are £27.50.

Home of one of England’s greatest Universities, Cambridge’s historical colleges, bustling central marketplace and glittering River Cam make it a must-visit for those looking for a slice of the real England. History buffs will love the Round Church – one of only four in the UK, and the world famous Kings College Chapel, whilst you’ll get a Peeping Tom kick out of nosing around the colleges and glimpsing some of the stunning gardens beyond the old wooden gates. Make sure to take a punt down the river before having dinner at the stunning Michelin starred restaurant, Midsummer House.
