Conceived by Mark Fuller and Iron Maiden’s management, you’d expect this rock-inspired hotel to have TVs permanently on standby. Alas, those hedonistic days are gone, but with 30 rooms ranging from ‘crash pads’ to full blown suites, a 24 hour bar by the rooftop hot tub, and a cinema in the basement, there’s plenty of scope for misbehaviour. Celebrity fans including Bruce Willis and Jude Law can choose from six ‘distinctive moods’ which include dark velvets & veneers and satin pink ‘rococo fantasies’. That’s one for Die Hard, surely. Within walking distance of Regent Street and Covent Garden, it's also home to Lux Club London, the weekend brunch club held in the private cinema.
