THE BOUNDARY

One of the most hotly anticipated launches of 2009, Terence Conran’s Boundary is located in a converted Victorian warehouse, with 17 rooms and suites each inspired, or indeed created by, different designers. You’ll get ‘Modern Chinoiserie’ courtesy of David Tang, rooms dedicated to young British talent, Scandinavian or Bauhaus aesthetics and of course, the Conran Suite. The hotel also has a fantastic rooftop garden space - immensely popular with a no-reservations policy, expect to queue for access if you're not a guest - with a grill and open fireplace, a classic French and British menu in the excellent basement restaurant, and the Albion caff, which serves homecooked comfort food and does a roaring trade in freshly baked bread and essentials. Within walking distance of Old Street, Brick Lane and Columbia Road.
