Kisses and hugs, a chromosomal anomaly or a Gossip Girl ending? Whilst locals can’t make heads or tails of the name, it doesn’t take a genius to get this new venue’s clubbing pedigree, with Eat Your Own Ears’ Tom Baker, Field Day’s Marcus Weedon, and Bugged Out’s Johnno Burgess all behind the venture. And after a whopping decade in the making, you know a lot of thought’s gone into this part club, part live event space.
XOYO’s two floors can fit 800 and already have some big nights lined up from the likes of Smash & Grab, Bugged Out! and electro parties from local music bible FACT mag. If live music’s more your thing, then watch out for the gig listings, with Noah and the Whale and the Crystal Fighters on the stage. Kiss kiss, bang bang.
