Benefitting from its own garden overlooking The Regent’s Canal and two huge floors of space (thanks to its former life as a furniture warehouse) the Victoria Miro Gallery is one of the most frequented spaces in East London – and not just by those looking for a free sun-spot. Representing artists including Peter Doig, David Harrison and Doug Aitken as well as Turner Prize winners Chris Ofili and Grayson Perry, the airy, whitewashed spaces are worth a gander before popping into the aforementioned garden. After all, a good bronzer only goes so far.
