A multi-disciplinary venue along the same lines as the Southbank Centre, the Barbican is Europe’s largest purveyor of arts, music, theatre and dance, whilst also playing home to the London Symphony Orchestra. Offering perhaps a more grown-up programme of events, you’ll find international cinema festivals, world music concerts, thought provoking exhibitions and post-show talks with influential names, and of course, London Symphony Orchestra performances all under one roof. The below ground theatre is particularly visitor friendly, as its unique seating system means you’ll never be more than 65 metres way from the stage.
