Few other cities can boast of a gastronomic scene as dynamic as Copenhagen. There’s Noma, of course, but there’s much to discover than the world’s arguably best restaurant and the dozen or so other Michelin stars (you'll find most of these gourmet restaurants listed here) that the Danish capital proudly holds.
Copenhagen Cooking is a biannual event that lets you sample the best of the new Nordic cuisine, and at slightly more democratic prices. But rather than just offering discounted meals (particularly during Copenhagen Dining Week), the festival encompasses a number of events, some free such as street stands and pop-up kitchens in the metro, and others offering rare chances to look behind the scenes or meet the chefs.
