Taking its inspiration from the namesake street in New York for a camp everything-goes vibe, Club Christopher is home to a slightly young but up-for-it, mixed crowd on weekend nights, not least thanks to its open bar concept.
Here you pay only the entry and access to the open bar (including beer, soda, shots and house booze) is included; take a close look at the staff to decide who you’ll be sucking a tequila body shot off later. If you think the crowd is uptight to start off with, just be patient and wait until they've loosened up at the bar.
There’s an open air courtyard with cocktail bar for al fresco action (and smokers) but be warned: Christopher shares the space with K3 – a gay-friendly but predominantly straight establishment – so not everybody may welcome your advances. It's also where the cloakroom is located, so don't stay until the dire end – it can be a freezing place to queue for your coat.
