Don’t be misled by the name – which may want to make your curl up in front of a fire and don your fluffy slippers – this high-camp classic is one of Copenhagen’s latest openers and the prime early morning destination for partiers who don’t want the night to end.
It gets messy in here as intoxicated patrons, trannies and drag queen performances fill up the small dancefloor and get frisky by the wall-mounted mirror, but it’s all in good, polite spirits. A reputation as a kind of last chance cruising saloon means you won’t leave home empty handed if you don’t want to. Stumble in when the other bars have kicked you out and join the fun.
