What do you get when you mix cocktails, organic food and art, before shoving them all together into a hot bar in Kødbyen, the meatpacking district of town? A trendy headache, for all intents and purposes, but if you want to know where the hipsters hang out, it’s here. Even the bar menu warns that ‘yuppies’ may be charged extra.
Thankfully the space – outfitted by hefty design names like Olafur Eliasson – is pretty big and split between restaurant (not bad at all), bar (hopping), live music stage (on occasion) and art studio, so you can pick and choose how to spend your evening; and there’s plenty to see. Just be careful at the bathrooms that unfurl like a mirrored maze (with 25 doors but only five toilets).
