LAURENT DANIELS

There aren’t that many gay characters in TV soaps, but Philip Kruger in the long-running Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten – continuously on the air since 1992 – was one of them, and so the buff Laurent Daniels became Germany’s most famous homo while inhabiting the role from 1997 to 2000. Laurent has since been dabbling in singing and trying his luck in other soaps, but with less success. In summer, however, he can often be spotted putting his sizeable talent on public display in the nude section of the Tiergarten park.
