Proving that you don’t have to be high-price to be high-end, the four-star Aspria’s kudos has more to do with its great services and proximity to the Kurfürstendamm than any impressive design. And the fact that it’s primarily a spa and sporting club which happens to have a hotel attached.
That said, double rooms are a fair 30 square metres in size, with broadband access, mounted televisions and out-of-hours snacks (in lieu of a mini bar), whilst those after a little extra room can book apartments which come with kitchenettes, extra storage and lounge area.
Buffet breakfast is served in the Cadadia lounge which opens onto an outdoor terrace come summer (grab a takeaway breakfast box if you’re in a hurry), and people rave about the extensive Aspria Spa & Sport facilities – a destination in their own right thanks to the huge 16,000 square metre space, a 25m lap pool, yoga classes, and massages.
