With 50 rooms and 50 different artists having had a go at personalizing them, you can choose from the fairly conventional to the completely absurd. The one artist-one room concept may no longer be new, but it still makes for a unique (though not necessarily overly comfortable, depending on the room) stay at Arte Luise – it’s even possible to try several rooms during your stay. Don’t expect the comforts (rooms can be noisy, too), service or amenities of more conventional hotels, but the place is fun, centrally located in Mitte, and benefits from free Wi-Fi so you can google your options if it all becomes a bit too much.
