For the uninitiated, Cowshed began life as a range of health and beauty products straight out of the gardens of Soho House’s countryside outpost in the UK, Babington. Now a series of standalone shops and spas with a broad range of cheekily named products (from horny cows to bullocks), a Cowshed spa is a mainstay of any Soho House location.
The Berlin club has two areas, though only the relaxation space is open to non-members (the other side is more ‘active’ with gym equipment to hand for residents) with four mani/pedi armchairs, treatments rooms, relaxation pods and even a Hamam for ultimate relaxation.
Try the body scrub with raw silk gloves for 25 euros, a speedy facial in half an hour for 30 euros, or go all out with advanced facials at 75 euros or a 90-minute hot stone massage for 85 euros. Manis and pedis start from 12 euros, and the half-hour ‘Cowgroom’ packages are the perfect option for a speedy getaway.
Make this your regular haunt and you might even be invited to become a Cowshed Lover, a clandestine group of clients who get the inside scoop on new treatments and products first, as well as being invited to take part in special gatherings.
