With a history dating back to 1811, Lutter & Wegner has been around for a while and it’s not about to break with its past, even as it has opened several offshoots across the country. The kitchen serves up classic Austro-German food at its best – the restaurant is renowned city-wide and beyond for its Wiener Schnitzels – in a formal white tablecloth setting that is also revered for its extensive wine list, particularly its Mosel Riesling selection. The ambience here at the original venue is perfect for business entertainment, but the place is sufficiently intimate to double up for an evening date when you don’t want the service to interfere with proceedings.
