Just about as lovely and classic as they come, this elegant Viennese coffee house is actually the original location of what is now a brand being rolled out across Germany, Starbucks-style. But don’t let that put you off, as the original also benefits from beautiful views out onto the Tiergarten, and serves up freshly ground beans for early risers, schnitzel and noodles for the midday munchies, and a tempting selection of cakes and pastries for afternoon pick-me-ups.
