For a true fine-dining experience, enter into the hallowed halls of chef Sauli Kemppainen’s Die Quadriga, located on the lobby level of the Brandenburger Hof hotel. Unlike some in-house hotel restaurants, this small (28 seat capacity) and perfectly formed institution is nothing like an afterthought, more than holding its own, with clientele coming from well outside the realm of just the bedrooms to indulge in the creative cuisine. The Finnish chef ranks amongst the top masters of the new-style Nordic cuisine, meaning that reindeer, arctic raspberries and vendace roe will be found on the menu here in the land of Wurst. White linens, chairs designed in 1904 by Frank Lloyd Wright, and a glassed-in courtyard area with comfortable lounge chairs, plenty of greenery and the tinkling of piano chords will see you comfortably seated in great company.
