Few places get as posy as this corner café in the borderland of the hipster area of Prenzlauer Berg and the arty district of Mitte. The menu – a decidedly random selection of local, Italian and Asian dishes – is fine though nothing out of the extraordinary and the service is shoddy at best, but there is no better vantage point in town for taking in Berlin’s hipster scene. Sunday afternoons get particularly busy so stand your ground and be ready to fight for your plastic seat.
