A good starting point to any evening in Berlin’s gay triangle, Heile Welt is a cosy bar, quiet enough to hear what your cute neighbour has to say and sufficiently comfortable to keep you settled in for a while. The bartenders are a fairly savvy lot and will keep you plugged in to local gay happenings – edge your way to the back of the bar where a cosier room awaits without the threat of darkroom action – this is one bar where you won’t find filthy goings on or drag queens at every turn.
