Pulling into port for the evening or just looking for a sailor for the night? Ok, so Hafen (German for port) may not actually be on the water, but it’s got plenty of fine catches and, situated right next to Tom’s Bar, tends to grab a lot of the crowd looking to party rather than purely pick up. Good, clean fun is the aim of the game and the artsy vibe occasionally morphs into oddball theme nights, be it Vegas, Studio 54 or the Stone Age, whilst other random excuses to party are welcomed with open arms, including the Dutch Queens Day in April and float-building for the annual Christopher Street gay parade. Every first Monday of the month plays host to Quizz-O-Rama, a pop quiz in English should you be feeling linguistically challenged.
