Not everything that’s imported has to come from far flung fields. Thus one of Berlin’s hottest new stores, on this ‘hipster central’ street in Mitte, comes courtesy of a collaboration between Hamburg’s coolest shop, ‘Closed’, and 14 Oz, the Bread & Butter tradeshow founder’s local denim specialist around the corner.
In their own words, Closed by 14 Oz is all about ‘urban, casual and sophisticated’. To you and me, that means simple quality basics but with price tags to remind you that it isn’t GAP. Stock up on chinos, jersey tops, poplin shirts, supple leathers and louche rolled-up shorts at this space designed by s1 architects.
