This old lido has a firm following among nudists and families with kids – not necessarily the same people – but it’s so centrally located that it’ll be the first stop for anybody in want of a lakeside swim. The family-friendly facilities – kiddie pool, water slides and playgrounds – are welcoming to all, with the freeballers even getting their own snack bar on busy days, and is well-visited by gay men, particularly by late afternoon when the spectacular sunset isn’t the only attraction in the trees behind the playground. Boat rentals are also available for a different, more proper type of lakeside cruising.
