Think ahead to get a space at this teensy tiny speakeasy. Run by top cocktail shakers Gonçalo de Sousa Monteiro (from Victoria Bar) and Holger Groll (from Windhorst), and sporting only 14 seats, this one is not only difficult to find but hard to secure bumspace in.
You’ll find the hidden access point next to a police station, with a doorbell to alert them indoors of impending company. Look out for a gallery window spelling out the word BAR in mismatched, muddled letters.
If you’re lucky enough to have confirmed space around the stunning centrepiece black bar, get into the signature cocktails (the absinthe-riddled, eponymously named Buck & Breck is a killer), and chalk up your comments or doodles on the blackboard before leaving.
