BAR 25 BERLIN

Update September 2010: Bar 25 CLOSED. But go to Kater Holzig instead. Despite rumours about it closing last year, Bar 25 is still standing strong – much like the bit of Berlin Wall relic beside which it’s comfortably nestled. That and the Spree, of course, which forms the backbone for this Disneyland for grown-ups.

Take your pick from the circus tent shows, the midnight movies at the outdoor cinema, have a bite at the amazing restaurant and bar (which serves food until 1am), indulge in a post-sauna spa session, and enjoy a tree-top swing in between the parties and general merriment. And if you find you just can’t bring yourself to go home (physically or metaphorically), you can even rent beach-style huts to spend the night in behind the garden.
