There’s nothing like a little market-meandering on a quiet Sunday, and Berlin – like most big cities – has its fair share of flea markets. You’ll find all of the usual brick-a-brack like second-hand books, vintage coinage, GDR memorabilia and odd bits of furniture out on the street. The largest and most famous market is the Trödelmarkt on Strasse des 17. Juni, whilst Arkonaplatz is a haven of sixties and seventies memorabilia, and Mauerpark is the newbie on the scene.
