Put your wallets away; the aim here is not really to spend – unless your currency is time. Born out of the hyper trendy art/cultural biannual ‘032c’, its space is a part museum, part idea-factory, part artistic stomping ground filled with whatever thematic flotsam its members decide to come up with.
Located next to the German Foreign Office and loosely based around the idea of archiving, its first show featured the cryptic squiggles of Moscow artists’ ‘Slavs and Tartars’, with various other artists (Helmut Lang, Gosha Rubchinskiy and Thomas Mayfried) following with their own personal collections, from vodka dim sum bars to an ongoing project entitled ‘CAST_1’, assimilating industrial objects and pieces curated by architect Konstantin Grcic.
You won’t be a penny poorer, but might leave worlds wiser. Check their Facebook page for the monthly 032c Society bar nights.
