The visionary Catalan chef was originally contracted for 15 days in the famous El Bulli restaurant – he stayed 15 years. Having since made a name for himself, he’s won plenty of accolades for his Comerç 24 and tapas gastrobar Tapaç 24, getting a Michelin star for the former, which serves El Bulli-esque molecular gastronomy. He was recently chosen to head up the kitchen of the new W Barcelona, the first W hotel in Western Europe.
