TALLERS-RIERA BAIXA-NOTARIAT

El Raval was long an old city slum and seedy neighborhood and, although gentrification is well on its way, to some extent still is. However, for bargain hunters and vintage fans, its dirty, narrow streets are also a treasure trove waiting to be raided. Near Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas, the street Tallers is filled with everything from streetwear, sneakers, punk accessories, second hand junk and record stores. Nearer the MACBA, around the corner from the Casa Camper hotel, you find Notariat where several local designers are setting up shop next to vintage central Blow. But for vintage fashion, make it deeper into the area and onto the small side street of Riera Baixa which will put you smack dab in the middle of all things vintage, most notable the Le Swing store.
