Dry Martini may have Spain’s most inventive mixologist in the form of Javier de las Muelas (creator of Spoon Martinis – solid cocktails to be eaten with a spoon), and the old school cruise ship-style interior may appeal to some, but the real draw of this place is the pantry in the back.
Hidden – access is through the kitchen – and only accessible with reservation, you’ll find one the city’s most special dining rooms amongst the pantry’s subtly illuminated wall-mounted racks of bottles. Needless to say that the pre-dinner aperitif is world class; but discover it, and you’ll find the food is delicious, too. Reserve a private table if dining at communal diggs isn’t your thing.
