It’s been a while since the press of the now defunct Catalan daily, ‘El Noticiero Universal’ have made the walls of this building tremble, but Christian Crespin and Elena Barta have created their own buzz since launching Noti in late 2002 with an inventive modern Mediterranean cuisine. The red upholstery may be a bit worn these days, but the restaurant oozes understated class. As dusk falls, the light interacts with the reflective gold panelling, transforming the bright and busy all-business lunchtime venue into a lush dinner club that wouldn’t be out of place in Paris or New York, complete with competent bar staff and the occasional DJ session.
