Carles Abellán’s restaurant made quite a splash when it opened its doors back in 2000. A winning combination of El Bulli-esque ingenuity and well-versed staff able to explain the culinary processes to diners resulted in a deserved Michelin star. The place is still thriving and worth your hard-earned cash, even though it sometimes seems to coast by on the steady business from gourmet tourists.
