The Andilana group has been incredibly successful with its winning formula of decent food in pleasant surroundings, at hard-to-beat prices (the restaurants invariably set you back a twenty, give or take some change, depending on how hard you hit the bottle). But while the other restaurants serve dishes that are prepared centrally and then heated locally, Miu Japonés benefits from its own kitchen. It’s by no means a Nobu or Koy Shunka, but the maki rolls in particular are very good, the setting belies the moderate prices, and your wallet will thank you that it’s only an Andilana. Big and rarely full, it’s particularly handy for groups.
