Of Barcelona’s fitness emporiums, David Lloyd and Arsenal may be bigger and more pompous, but Club Metropolitan is offering better value. With some 8,000 m2 of plush spa and health club at your disposal, most needs should catered for, regardless of whether you’re there to firm up buttocks or just to sit them in the onsite restaurant. The standout feature of this club, however, is the 700 m2 rooftop sun deck with what may be the town’s best views of La Sagrada Familia.
