A bust-up between the organisers and the venue owners means that the Saturgays party has moved uptown, and although The One (that's the name of the venue) remains gayfriendly on Saturdays with a dedicated gay area, it feels more like amateur night as the chavs have moved in.
Its location inside the Poble Espanyol theme park on Montjuïc can be a bit of a mental hurdle. But jump in cab – it’s only a five to ten minute taxi ride from Gayxample – and consider the sightseeing a bonus. The party itself is the typical big venue Saturday night clubbing experience – loud house, lots of suburban riff-raff.
