Update April 2012: Saturgays is still looking for a new home. Check this space for updates on its reopening. For anybody who wanted to spend Saturday night on chemically assisted ride, rubbing their sweaty tits against other shirtless gym bunnies on a dance floor, DBoy used to be the place to go in Barcelona. But with that place now closed, Saturgays has picked up the slack.
Since it’s not run by the Matinée Group, it’s certainly better value for money with free entry (on their Facebook list), cheaper drinks, raunchier stage shows, and arguably more fun. Arrive before 1:30am to beat the queues (the line for coat check is what usually holds up the door), and enjoy this Easter special while Saturgays finds a new permanent home.
