Whilst a few years back Barcelona boys had to make do with whatever man purse Gonzalo Comella would see fit to churn out, now they can pick and choose. Jean Pierre Bua, La Comercial, La Boutique and Santa Eulalia are all capable of satisfying the most demanding of label whores, and now they’ve got additional company, care of The Outpost. Specializing in men’s shoes and accessories, and having distributed to other stores in town for ages, they finally opened their own space in 2008, carrying an enviable list of names; expect shoes from Church’s, Jil Sander and Balenciaga, bags by Maison Margiela, Comme des Garçons and Marc Marmel, and accessories by Ann Demeulemeester, Falke and Drake’s.
