Run by the very cute Argentinean Alejandro (don’t call my name, don’t call my name… call my number), Aleluya is a cool little menswear shop in the trendy micro-hood within Raval near Casa Camper, the tiny stretch between the juvenile delinquents skating in front of MACBA and the thieves roaming the Ramblas.
The small store stocks hip urbanwear labels appropriate for the boisterous neighbourhood, like the locally produced and very covetable Barrio Santo and Curium brands, as well as names that may sound more familiar such as Religion and Firetrap.
Think London’s East End with bleached out t-shirts, cowl-necked drapery and distressed sneakers perfect for beating the streets – or at least giving the impression you do whilst dashing back to the hotel, clutching onto your belongings very tightly.
