An organic, undulating mass of stone, this may be Gaudí’s most impressive building. It may not look that impressive from the outside but, like a grower, it surprises positively when you get to know it more intimately. Look carefully everywhere, the genius is often in the details, like the seabed-like ceilings. The main attraction is the rooftop with its chimney sculptures, especially in summer when it’s the stage for early evening jazz concerts, but allow the time to see the showpiece flat and to pay attention to the educational tour in the attic.
