It’s big alright, but frankly not that special. Give it a miss if you’re on a tight schedule and pop into Santa Maria del Mar in El Born instead. But if you’re already there, pop into the courtyard from the side entrance. The small pond has 13 snow white geese, one for each of the tortures inflicted upon Santa Eulàlia in an effort to break her faith. Charming story. Dress respectfully if you plan to visit, so leave the daisy dukes at home and cover your shoulders in summer.
