The Barcelona Bus runs a schedule synched with Ryanair flights. The coaches are packed to the rafters but it remains the most economical option if you’re travelling by yourself. The journey time is about 60-80 minutes to Barcelona’s Estació del Nord bus station. Allow yourself enough time to buy your ticket before getting on the bus (inside the terminal building at the airport; upstairs at Barcelona’s bus station), and there’s often a sizeable queue for early morning departures.
Taxi
Cabbing it between Barcelona and Girona airport is a costly affair and you might be better off simply renting a car. The trip will set you back in the region of EUR 120-140 but if you’re in a rush, then it’s quicker than the bus at around 45-60 minutes.
Train
The train doesn’t make too much sense unless you have an aversion to getting on a bus. You’ll need to take a taxi to station in Caldes de Malavella (all Barcelona-bound trains will stop there, and it’s closer than the station in Girona town). Trains leave every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 80 minutes.
